About the University
Established in 1873, The University of Canterbury (UC) is a prestigious institution ranked in the world’s top 300 (QS World Universities rankings, 2021). It has received 5-Star QS rating for its excellent research and teaching methods.

Christchurch is the gateway to Canterbury. It is a perfect spot to hike, surf, bike and ski. The place has several parks and eco-friendly zones for people to explore. Christchurch is the second-largest city in New Zealand and also one of the most affordable cities to live. Being a major business and industrial centre, the city houses many global employers too.
